A new multimedia exhibition celebrating the golden age of art, design and architecture
Following the runaway success of «From Monet to Kandinsky» comes the new multimedia show «SOMETHING NOUVEAU. KLIMT, MUCHA, BEARDSLEY» at the new Museum of Digital Art (MODA) Bangkok, Thailand’s first Museum of Digital Art located at River City Bangkok.
«Something Nouveau: Klimt, Mucha, Beardsley» consists of 3 novels devoted to the art of three masters of art nouveau, one of the most influential art movements of the late 19th & early 20th centuries. Over five hundred masterpieces from three artists are projected onto large screens in a 900 square meter multimedia room, providing visitors to the exhibition a unique opportunity to look closely at every tiny detail of the paintings.
SOMETHING NOUVEAU features three separated but related experiences, providing even more wonder than the exhibitions of 2019.
The first immersive exhibition for 2020 and is the same format of ‘From Monet to Kandinsky’, ‘Something Nouveau’, is a celebration of the golden age of art nouveau, featuring the sumptuously fluid and decorative works of the three reknowned artists, enveloping the visitor as they are projected on continous screens and accompanied by music from the period.
Visitors are immersed in a wonderous three dimensional art world through the lens of 3D glasses provided for the experience. In addition, works created by international digital artists, allow the visitor to interact with the art. The technology will be especially captivating for children who are encouraged to create their own animated artwork for all to see.
