Stepping through the doorway of Insomnia by Mulberry House is like stepping into a warm living room; the plants and flowers that bedeck the interior lend it a freshness in perfect harmony with the vintage style furniture that fills the café with a classy ambience. The mingling aromas of freshly brewed coffee and baked waffles magically awaken the senses.

This small café is a hidden gem in the heart of Bangkok. Located in Soi Ton Son, opposite Central Chidlom. Insomnia by Mulberry House is fresh and comfortable and serves coffee and other drinks and desserts. It is suitable for patrons who are looking for a little privacy and a peaceful moment away from the busy streets. The elegant furniture is upholstered with fabric from Jim Thompson and the plants adorning the café bring a natural freshness and life to the space.

Souvenirs bought during various trips overseas are used to elegantly decorate the café and testify to the owner’s passion for travel. The furniture, vases, chandelier and many other items are put together in an eclectic collection, creating an almost accidentally graceful ambience.

A private function room, large enough to accommodate thirty people, is also decorated in style and suitable for a birthday party, meeting or workshop. The decorations and furniture at the café can also be purchased at special prices, if you really can’t resist taking something home.

The menu focuses on popular drinks such as hot or iced coffee, tea and the café’s signature drink, My Rose. This refreshing drink is a cocktail of pineapple juice, rose tea, rose syrup and lime juice.

Freshly baked, homemade waffles topped with honey and fresh strawberries are a delightful accompaniment to the drink of your choice, and the brownies are really moorish.
