Serving contemporary Indian food from the Southern Coast of India
Give yourself a treat and try modern Indian food at the newly opened JHOL Coastal Indian Cuisine Restaurant in Soi Sukhumvit 18.
JOHL is the first Bangkok restaurant to serve the cuisine of India’s southern coast, and the fact that it has the name of world-renowned chef Hari Nayak attached to it should be sufficient guarantee of the quality of the food on offer.
Foodies of all stripes, whether Thai or expat, will be pleased by the gastronomic experience offered by dishes such as Chili Garlic Crab with Egg Appam – juicy, chunky crabmeat cooked in peppery butter sauce and served with egg pancakes. Follow this with Green Peppercorn Fish with Pickled Lime Dip – tender fish fillet topped with masala-green peppercorn sauce and served with pickled lime on the side, a dish sure to please calorie-conscious diners. Prawns Cooked on Tender Coconut is another healthy treat, the prawns perfectly grilled on sweet and tender young coconut.
The drink menu features great-tasting concoctions to further enhance the flow of your meal. Deftly blending the gastronomic culture of South India with traditional Thai heritage, the drinks range from JHOL’s signature cocktails to fragrant teas, exclusive wines from around the world and a careful selection of spirits.
