From today until the end of March, 25 Degrees Burgers, Wine & Liquor Bar

welcomes renowned Chef Black from Blackitch Artisan Kitchen, Chiang Mai.

 

Chef Black will collaborate with our own Chef de Cuisine Sylvain Royer to create a farm-to-burger menu that uses only the freshest, highest-quality local ingredients sourced from local farming communities throughout Chiang Mai. Combining Chef Black’s unique style with 25 Degrees distinctive American burger joint DNA, the enticing menu will include a snack, one burger, and one milkshake.

Experience quality, cooked-to-perfection patties together with a great combination of all local produce sourced between fluffy house-made brioche buns prepared with Vietnamese basil and roasted rice. Savour an irresistible snack of cream cheese, avocado, and bacon bites with a northern Thai spice blend and paired with a sweet river prawn tomalley miso sauce. For a juicy burger, Chef Black’s farm-to-burger creation will brings together his distinctly local take on the classic American beef burger. The Thai basil and Plara sauce Burger is an explosion of flavors in your mouth. A succulent beef patty is topped with crispy chicken skin, pickled papaya, caramelized onion and banana blossom. Taking this burger to the next level is a special Halloumi cheese from Chiang Mai and local hawaw herbs. For a sweet finish, indulge in a delicious homemade milkshake crafted using wild Thai honey ice-cream, organic Earl Grey tea from the Araksa Tea Garden in Northern Thailand topped with a cacao wafer made straight from Blackitch Artisan Kitchen.

Phanuphon Bulsuwan or known as Chef Black, is the chef and owner of Blackitch Artisan Kitchen in Chiang Mai. A self-taught cook, Chef Black has championed a sustainable dining approach through creating a daily menu that is based on seasonal local ingredients sourced directly from local farmers throughout Chiang Mai. His restaurant offers an intimate one-of-a-kind dining experience for a maximum of 16 guests seated across two tables in a cozy and homey setting. He is also known as a master of fermentation techniques and has been cooking at numerous high-profile food events, including the recent Wonderfruit Festival in Pattaya.
