Facelift plans have been reported to revitalize Lumpini Park, Bangkok’s inner city sanctuary, ahead of its centenary in 2025. The 57.6-hectare park was created on royal property by King Rama VI, whose statue at the southwest entrance of the park commemorates the opening of the park.
